Surfing, Sunning and Sailing!

Aloha from Hawaii!
At the end of this AWESOME day we are all super tired!
After breakfast we all walked together to the Waikiki beach. When we arrived at the beautiful ocean we separated into groups and all the groups had a different schedule. We went surfing first.
Everybody got a surfing shirt and really good instructions from some really nice surf teachers. Then everybody picked one of the surfboards and practiced on the beach what they showed us to do. After some practice we were ready to catch some good waves. We paddled all the way out to the instructors, so they could help us to get onto the board and catch a wave. We tried to make some poses for the photographer. After about 2 hours of surfing some were already really good and some finally got onto their board at their last wave. It was a big success!
We paddled all the way back to our beach zone on our surfboard and had some free time to go get lunch, tan, swim or shop. Later on we went sailing on a catamaran. Before we sailed out on to the ocean, we took a big group picture in front of the catamaran. We had a great time sliding over the ocean and enjoying the paradise. Our group didn’t see any whales or dolphins but at least we got to see a few tiny fishes.  Some of the groups saw whales, dolphins and sea turtles!
We arrived safely back at the beach and had some more free time. At the evening we all met in the lobby to head over to a pizza place to have some awesome pizza and salad. When we finished eating we discovered some really nice streets and cute corner stores in little groups close to our hotel. At night we had a meeting in the lobby to talk about the next day.
All together it was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. We had new and different experiences, made new friends from all over the world and even got a little sunburn!
